Abstract:
Mr. Schlesinger will address his experience at Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. which offers mission-critical products and services for securities processing, clearing and outsourcing and investor communication. Mr. Schlesinger will shed light on the intricate role that computer and information science techniques play in today's financial markets. He will present the field not merely in a purely academic light, but also as immensely applicable to other business ventures.
Bio:
Mr. Mark Schlesinger is the chief information officer for Corporate Information technology at Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. He is responsible for managing all IT shared services including: infrastructure, enterprise security, government and outsource service provider management, offshore operations, corporate systems and development and enterprise architecture. He has extensive experience in the industry at Thomas McKinnon Securities, Charles Schwab and Company and Automatic Data processing. He received a BA in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics from Queens College CUNY.
