Wireless Sensor Data Mining Lab receives grant from National Science Foundation for $420,000
Fordham's Wireless Sensor Data Mining Lab
was provided support in the form of $420,000 from the National Science Foundation
for "Cell Phone-Based Acitivty Tracking for Telehealth". The funding will be used
to support the work of two undergraduate students and one graduate student as
well as provide additional support to the project as a whole,
especially Actitracker. The funding will last for three years from September 1, 2011 till
August 31, 2014.
The research will be led by WISDM's Faculty Lead,
Dr. Gary Weiss (Dept. of Computer
