The Department of Computer and Information Science (DCIS) of Fordham
University invites applications
for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to begin in Fall 2008. A
Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field is required with a
commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Although we welcome
candidates in all areas, we are particularly interested in candidates who can
teach and conduct research in one or more of the following areas at the
undergraduate and graduate levels: Informatics and Intelligent Systems; Data,
Information, and Sensor Fusion; Computing Systems and Architectures; Parallel
Computing; Information Networking and Internet Technology; Database and
Web-based Systems.
DCIS at Fordham offers graduate and undergraduate programs on both campuses
(Rose Hill in the Bronx and Lincoln Center in Manhattan) of the University.
Our intention is to attract and recruit the best faculty regardless of area
